Week 1 EOC: Great Customer Service

At the time I was comparing prices from every stores for the perfect Keurig Coffee Maker, so I finally just decided to give in and go to Walmart. I searched and searched all around the store until I found the aisle with the coffee machines and I decided to go with one of the elite models which I also ended up getting priced matched. So when I got home I was so excited to try out my new coffee machine! Of course, when I opened it up it ended up being a rock wrapped in bubblewrap! I was terrified to go back to Walmart and having them think it was a joke. I finally built up the courage and went to their customer service and explained to them that I thought I had purchased a wonderful coffee maker which was actually just a rock. And I was so concerned and I waited for the employee to say something, but I think she was in shock because she blankly stared at me and didn't what to say. So the employee ended up calling the manager and they said that someone probably returned this product, but they didn't end up checking it. And they were more than happy to let me exchange it for the actual coffee machine. And they even went to go get it for me and I of course had to open it in front of them to make sure that it was in fact the coffee machine this time.

"Marketing occurs when people decide to satisfy needs and wants through exchange relationships."(Marketing:An Introduction) Walmart has really good customer service for the most part, but I really felt like they went above and beyond on this case. And they gave me absolutely no trouble or grief which I really appreciated and will most likely shop there again.
